Indee

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does Indee work?

Once you put your film up on Indee, you provide the email address of the recepient who should receive the screener. A unique secure link is sent to the screener for the time period determined by you.

What devices can the films be viewed on?

Just like Netflix streaming, recepients can view the film on their PCs and Macs as well as on televisions hooked up to their iPad, PC or with internet connectivity

Can we have a white-labled version of this?

We find that white-labling a product sacrifices product quality by diluting the product focus. We're stubborn about Indee's product and would rather have the best product than convince you with fluff features like white-labling.

Are online screeners accepted in the industry?

Very much so. In 2011 major studios such as Paramount and Fox sent online screeners for awards consideration. Online screeners is a well adopted & mature industry practice.

Are there any monitoring tools available?

Yes, Indee monitors and reports back on how many recepients viewed your film, what the most popular scenes were and many more reports coming soon.

What security do you have for my film?

You set an expiry date on each screener you send out. Additionally, we use the secure RTMP protocol that the large studios and Hulu uses for their own streaming offerings. This is more secure than regular streaming and far more secure than an easily copied DVD that never expires.

What will it cost me?

This is answered much better on our pricing page.

Will this help in my self-distribution strategy?

An online screener system is an invlauable tool in your self-distribution arsenal. With self-distribution, your primary goal is reach. Anyone you speak with is going to want to see your film or at least clips from it. Waiting for FedEx to deliver your DVD to them is valuable time and impact lost. The next time you're on a call with a reporter, tell them they have your film waiting for them in their inbox this very instant.
